Grass announced that it is building a Layer 2 data Rollup based on Solana, aimed at solving the transparency issues currently faced in the AI field. Its solution will introduce a mechanism for recording metadata to record the source of all data sets. Grass collects network data through its node network, cleans and structures it for use in AI model training, while rewarding the contributions of nearly one million participants worldwide. This Layer 2 solution will allow metadata to be recorded each time data is captured to verify the data source, which will be permanently embedded in each data set, enabling builders to be confident of the data's source.
