HashKey Group announced it is collaborating with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) on the "wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) project". HashKey will participate in building a collaborative technical framework to provide solutions for asset tokenization issuance and management, and assist in building a robust and secure wCBDC network. The HKMA-led wCBDC project aims to support the development of tokenized deposits and assets in Hong Kong to establish a new generation of financial market infrastructure.
